We had chosen a sales agent based on them saying they could get the highest value for us. We later found out this is a common tactic of high street, corporate agents because they get a cash bonus for every sign up they get agreed irrelevant of whether it is over valued or damages the sales process for the client. They then keep dropping the price sequentially until the property is sold. Anthony explained how this is a very poor marketing strategy when compared to other options. We changed to him, agreed with his new strategy and then proceeded to sell the property for more than the original valuation, we are so thankful of his help.
